I don’t like the default YouTube icon in my iPod touch. The vintage TV image just doesn’t cut it.
So I made a replacement icon. It’s simple and straight forward. Anyone familiar with YouTube will recognise it at a glance.
You can have it if you like. To use it, just “Show Package Content” on YouTube.app and drop in the replacement. It must be named “icon.png”.
The icon was created using a PhotoShop kit developed by Jotlet.
Be sure to rename your downloaded icon to “icon.png” first before replacing the default icon. Btw, the first one (top-left) is translucent; your wallpaper will show up underneath the icon.
